Non-personally identifiable information (non-PII) is collected to allow us to analyze how our website is used and to improve the content and service the website provides. The VRG web site provides links to other third-party web sites. Even if the third party is affiliated with VRG through a business partnership or reference, VRG is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of such external links. These links are provided to you for the purpose of 3rd party training fulfillment and general reference information. Vision Resourcing Group neither controls nor endorses external sites and is not responsible for the content of such sites. This policy does not cover the privacy policies and data collection practices of non-Vision Resourcing Group websites. 

 

How to opt out of correspondence

Based on the information a user has provided, Vision Resourcing Group may send e-mail correspondence to the user. Each correspondence will contain an easy means to opt out of further correspondence.

 

Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected, bearing in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable time. Under applicable regulations, we will keep records containing client personal data, account opening documents, communications and anything else as required by applicable laws and regulations. 

 

We may rectify, replenish or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.

 

Minors

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. Under no circumstances shall we allow use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorization by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors.

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section. Career and Certification Programs Governance
 

Enrollment Procedures:
Students can go to www.VisionResourcingGroup.com to register and pay online in advance of any course offering. Payment may be made in person at the first classroom event, provided the class is available based on the minimum attendance requirement.
 

Attendance Policy:
Students are expected to attend all class sessions for the Career and Certification programs taken to comply with training goals and/or certification requirements.
 

Readmission Policy:
A leave of absence will be granted for illness, emergency or unexpected reasons considered valid by the school. If granted a student may enter a later class within a period of one year at no additional cost to the student. After one year from the initial date of the leave of absence the student will be required to pay current course tuition fees and materials charges that are in effect or in use at the time the student reenters the class.

 

Non-Discrimination Policy: 
Vision Resourcing Group does not discriminate among students on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, age, sex, marital or handicapped status.

 

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Vision Resourcing Group refund and cancellation policies varies depending upon the internal and 3rd party provider guidelines. Therefore, each policy/requirement is identified in the career/certification service descriptions before the point-of-sale.
 

Student Conduct Policy:
Vision Resourcing Group reserves the right to dismiss any student who exhibits belligerent, disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior.

Student Complaint Policy: In the event a student has a complaint or grievance concerning Vision Resourcing Group, its owners, staff, or instructors, the student must submit, in writing, a complaint or grievance within 30 days of alleged inappropriate activity or action.

GDPR Compliance

VRG meets the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements for properly handling personal data as defined below:
 

  • Lawful, fair and transparent processing – All data processing on the VRG website is performed via SSL certified data channels. All purchase transaction is transmitted encrypted via a secure TLS connection via PCI-DSS Compliance (see PCI/DSS compliance statement below.
  • Limitation of purpose, data and storage – The storage of student data is securely maintained for the purpose of maintaining training and certification records and ongoing communications.
  • Data subject rights – Students have the right to be removed and expunged from our database by written request.
  • Consent – All purchases are required to agree to the terms & conditions publicly documented on this website.
  • Personal data breaches – VRG agrees to notify via email, anyone who may have been affected by a verified data breach.
  • Privacy by design – Customer contact data is stored for the purpose of maintaining training and certification records and is not shared with 3rd parties unless the are integral to the training/certification process
  • Data protection impact assessment – VRG performs PCI-DSS compliance annually
  • Data transfers – The VRG CRM has no public or 3rd party access

 

PCI/DSS Compliance

VRG adheres to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance and strictly follow the policies and procedures developed to protect credit, debit and cash card transactions and prevent the misuse of cardholders' personal information.
 

Network Advertising Initiative's (NAI) compliance

VRG maintains a Code of Conduct that sets high standards for Interest-Based Advertising applicable to its third-party advertising members. VRG works with strategic partners and nationally known organizations that bring new tools and resources for a broader-based stewardship effort in identifying and on-boarding volunteers and employees, build stronger teams, and establish career /calling training in the church, workplace, and schools.
